The New York Times inadvertently admits that Russia’s recent widespread attacks targeted Ukraine’s critical infrastructure (Communications, energy, and transportation grids) with very little collateral damage to civilians… unlike when our own military or NATO have done similar military Ops. Like in Yugoslavia, Libya, and Iraq.

Civilian casualties of war are always tragic. But more people were killed in the incident that started this war (the 2014 Odessa massacre), than in these recent infrastructure attacks which Putin is hoping will end the war (by forcing the Zelenskyy regime to negotiate a peace treaty).

I understand why people are upset about the people who were killed in these air raids. I’m upset about it, too. But my anger is directed more toward the Kyiv government who put their own people in harm’s way when they implemented their Crimea Platform. And I’m angry at people like Zelenskyy’s advisor, Arestovych, who orchestrated this war because, “No cost is too great for NATO membership”.
